COUNTER Release 5.1 (R5.1) and COUNTER Release 5.0 (R5) reports are available to subscribing institutions on a monthly basis, covering usage data from the previous month, via our Administrator Portal (username and password required). Existing administrator credentials remain valid. If you need a username and password, please contact us.
Subscribing institutions can also use our SUSHI service for automated retrieval of COUNTER usage statistics. Please contact us to request your credentials and information on using this service.

Why are my usage statistics changing?
COUNTER Release 5.1 is the latest Code of Practice and introduces improvements to clarity, consistency, and Open Access reporting. Bloomsbury now provides R5.1 reports while continuing to supply R5 (5.0) reports in parallel during the transition period until March 2026.
